Europe: Dublin

Some firsts: glimpse of Ireland, driving on the left, real stew in a pub and pints! And Trinity College. Also loved this ad by Absolut..chalk board for people to write on (not sure why fears but it was cool). Today we flew to Dublin and explored the city's center...mainly Temple Bar and Trinity College area. Had a bunch of pints, caught some music, and tried to get an Irish SIM card but couldn't unlock my phone (I guess because I just got it yesterday). Now I am stuck with a UK SIM card and roaming, which is expensive. Might try again tomorrow. Tried to go to two different bookstores but it seems one had left and one wasn't open.

Hoping to hit up the Cheesemonger shop in the morning before heading west to Galway and the Aran Islands. Renting a bike and cycling around Inis Mor island is one of the things I have been dreaming about doing.

Alan, Camila, Ben and Me in St. Stephen's Green

We met up with my cousin (from Brasil) and her boyfrield, Alan, here in Dublin. Quite strange when I think about it. We had fun exploring and having a couple pints. She and Alan are here in Dublin for the year studying. Sounds lovely to me!

The Temple Bar and Dublin streetsLoved the red of this ivy!
