Actually, I have never formally introduced Basil! [said "Bah-sil" like Basil of Baker Street] He's the puppy on the right and was Ben's Christmas gift this year. Ben was shocked (I love surprises) and Lexi loves having a playmate. He is another delightful dog from Bernie's amazing rescue, A Place to Bark.
This week I have finally gotten back to making shirts (a little easier now that the studio/office is usable and beautiful). I decided that I needed a set line-up of shirts with the same designs and embellishments, wisely suggested by my friend moop (an experienced and always-busy handmade goods seller). So I sat down and matched the different colors of the shirts with the images and embellishments that work best. I have named each shirt after a town I have lived in or near. I did all the stenciling and screening today. Next is embellishing and then getting some photos shot of each style.
A full studio tour is in order, but until then this gives you a sense of how it is shaping up.

Note: Prints by Mati and Kelly Rae are on the wall bringing me inspiration and fond memories of Squam Art Workshops 2008.
